John, Marsha and Lori Neighbors
John, Marsha and Daughter,
Lori, have been in real estate and real estate marketing for the past
13 years. The first eight years of
this time was spent as owners and publishers of Homes & Land Magazine
in the Greater Jacksonville Florida area and the Brunswick/St. Simons
Georgia area. It was during this period that “The
Neighbors” received their real estate marketing training
and experience. By attending marketing seminars and many years
of “hands-on” experience designing ads for Realtors, they
gained extensive knowledge and expertise about how to design ads that
attract attention and produce results.
Following this publishing experience, “The
Neighbors” joined
Watson Realty in Jacksonville and immediately began to put this background
and experience to work for them. They began using Top Producer
as their contact manager and developed a data base of over 2000 contacts
they have been mailing to for the past 5 years.
Many of the earlier mailings
during this time period were trial and error until they attended a
marketing seminar where they developed the letter writing technique
that is found in all of the letters they send to their contacts. Letters which are non-threatening, give no facts
and statistics about the writer’s degrees and qualifications, but
which offer a “warm and friendly” style of useful tips and
content, combined with slight humor and ending with a request for action. These
letters have produced results since the beginning.
“The Neighbors” have
continued to hone their creative letter writing skills and will be
producing addendum to this initial offering of letters. They
hope you use these letters consistently and that they produce the kind
of results they have experienced over the past few years of using them
for our contacts.
